Not War Bombs

Alleged Second World War Bombs that were found along Clacton's beach were later found to be none other than metal and concrete.

The findings by a man and his dog then began an evacuation of the local area and a specialist bomb squad was called to arrange a detonation.

After the controlled detonation of one of the four metal objects, it was discovered the items were not bombs and they have now been removed.
