Unlike many of our competitors we have no minimum order levels, so are able to quote for any job regardless of how big or small the requirements.

Wrought Products As a stockist of Molybdenum, Tantalum and other refractory materials we are also able to offer a very reactive and competitive wrought product service.

We stock a wide range of materials in plate, sheet, bar, rod & wire form and can supply a range of standard sizes with a very quick turnaround & Delivery.

New Machinery

We are unsure as to whether you see our Facebook updates or not, but if you do not then we updated last week about some new machinery we had coming into the workshop.

We were having a good sort out and a move around of bits and pieces so that we could get our new machinery in.

Did you know.. about Tungsten?

Did you know that it is a chemical element with the chemical symbol W and atomic number 74.

Tungsten has the highest melting point of these refractory metals at 3422°C.

It is very robust and has an extremely high tensile strength; it has the ability to be drawn into very thin wires.

Tungsten’s corrosion resistance is also very good.

Applications include; lighting elements, X-ray targets, heating elements, missile components, and due to its high density is used as counter weights.
